Airing on ITV1, Raymond Blanc’s Royal Kitchen Gardens is produced by Rock Oyster Media. It will spotlight the ‘kitchen garden’, long advocated for by HM King Charles III whose personal interest in gardening and sustainability has created many green spaces in the grounds of Royal households.
Blanc said it was “a huge honour to be invited to visit five of the most magnificent walled gardens in the UK, to meet the wonderful gardeners who maintain them, learn about their extraordinary stories, and hear about their passion for sustainability.”
Featured among Blanc’s garden tour is the Apple tunnel of Highgrove and the gardens of Castle of Mey, inviting viewers into never-before-seen culinary compounds.
Raymond Blanc’s Royal Kitchen Gardens was ordered by ITV’s Leanne Clarke, with Charlotte Davis, David Nottage and Hannah Wilson producing the series for Rock Oyster Media.
The series will air later this autumn on ITV1 and ITVX.
