EPISODE 1: GUARDIANS
The Choco rainforest located in Ecuador rivals the Amazon in biodiversity and yetonly 2% of the rainforest remains due to illegal logging. Topher White has a solution, a “Guardian” -- a solar-powered listening device made of old cell phones that can be affixed hundreds of feet up on trees and report sounds of chainsaws to rangers in real time.

Nthabi and her co-founders at Easy Solar aim to bring back the power to one ofthe world’s poorest countries, Sierra Leone, by harnessing the one thing that cannot be taken away: the sun.
EPISODE 3: PROJECT KAKUMA
In the largest refugee camp in the world, the children are hungry learners but lack the school infrastructure to support their active minds. The Maggie Project has a way to help: new schools made out of recyclable and sustainable tent-like material that can withstand decades, and is refugee camp approved.
