REMEMBERING DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES

It provoked both shock and an outpouring of grief on a global scale – the abrupt and brutal ending in a tunnel in Paris of the life of the most famous woman in the world: Diana, Princess of Wales.  

Tony Blair, then the British Prime Minister, was the first of many world leaders to pay tribute to Diana, famously dubbing her ‘the people’s princess’. He spoke about how she reached out to the sick, dying and needy, and how with just a look or a gesture she revealed the depth of her compassion and humanity.

Made shortly after her tragic death in August 1997, this poignant and illuminating tribute features the memories of those touched by Diana’s glamour, grace, generosity, courage and charisma.
